Hand Poked 

Hand poked tattooing is the process of tattooing one dot at a time. It can be less aggressive/painful and less traumatic to the skin than machine tattooing. It is done using the same needles used for machine tattooing, and is just as permanent and long lasting. It is slower than machine tattooing, but much faster than most people think.
